Core-Team Blurb

    For these pieces, we began by brainstorming. We went through idea after idea before deciding to go with a "beach themed" band. We then began to search for photos that had to do with waves. It is for this reason that we constructed the "Weave of Collaborated Waves". From here we began to paint the background of the poster board, before constructing the weave. We decided it best to place these weaves in the corners to draw attention from the outside of the board to the center. Then we began to create the text for the poster, with a palette of oranges & yellows that would complement the blues & greens of the background. All elements would lead into the central text of the band. We spray mounted these elements into their final locations on the poster, drawing the eye into the center of the board where you will see the true Core ("O") in the center of the poster.
